Munich residence

The residence of the German nobility is located in the heart of Munich, close to a busy shopping street. At first glance, its facade does not look impressive, you can even call it dull, but inside things look very different.

The building was built over and gradually ennobled with beautiful courtyards, an exquisite French model garden with fountains and statues, and even has its own chapel.  The building itself consists of several main halls and more than 100 small halls that demonstrate various aspects of the life of the Bavarian nobility. Over the years, there was even an Opera house where chamber concerts were held.
It is safe to say that wherever a person turns their gaze, they see beauty, luxury, and an unsurpassed sense of detail. Starting with the castle, go inside and get to the ceilings. Undoubtedly, you will get the impression of Persian-style tapestries with gold and silver threads that adorn the walls of the Palace.

One of the most impressive halls is the Antiquarium, built between 1568 and 1571. Here is a collection of sculptures. In the past, this hall was used for fun holidays and balls, and since 1581, there is a library.

The treasure room in the residence contains many valuable relics that were collected by the Bavarian rulers over the centuries. Among them you can find items of worship, Royal crowns, diadems and jewelry. These precious items are made of gold, silver, rubies, emeralds, and fine Japanese and Chinese porcelain.http://fiatforum.lv/http://fiatforum.lv/
